ACU's Big Sing for a Big Cause 2025

Big Sings first orchestra Rehearsal!

Wednesday night marked an exciting milestone—the first orchestra rehearsal for Big Sing for a Big Cause 2025! Musicians from ACU, Monash, La Trobe and more came together to begin practising for what is going to be an amazing performance at St Patrick's Cathedral.

Welcome to ACU's BIG SING for a BIG CAUSE 2025

This year, our "cause" will focus on advocacy for Mental Health and Wellbeing. This will inform our repertoire, including the Australian premiere of YOU ARE ENOUGH: A MENTAL HEALTH SUITE by Aron Accurso and Rachel Griffin Curso. 

Singers and instrumentalists with a range of experience will take part, including ACU students, staff, or alumni, as well as members of other University music groups, an international guest choir, and the wider community.

This year our performances are on June 27 at St Patrick's Cathedral (Melbourne) and on June 28 at Preston Market (Preston, Vic).
