'Across the Hall' is a live music performance event, raising funds for youth mental health non-profit and research institute Orygen.
A diverse array of instruments will lead participants through a progression-style performance exploring themes of self-isolation and harmony. As the audience moves through the multi-space experience, they will find lone instrumentalists cloistered by the surrounding architecture, all playing the same composition, transforming the RMIT University classrooms into a journey through sound.
By separating the familiar elements of a live performance, we are encouraging a dialogue on the importance of community and communication in support of youth mental health; a conversation to take home with you.
