Stepping out for Youth Mental Health
Step out for a lap around Princes Park and step up for Youth Mental Health.
Stepping Out for Youth Mental Health was established in memory of James Marcon, who accessed support through Orygen's headspace services and found particular benefit in the headspace art therapy programs.
Held annually at Princes Park, this community fundraising event led by the James Marcon Youth Health Foundation raises vital funds to help deliver art therapy programs across Orygen's headspace centres.
Every dollar raised directly supports the delivery of art therapy programs at Orygen's headspace centres.

Support art therapy programs across Orygen's five headspace centres
This community event was created in memory of James Marcon – a much-loved young man who used Orygen’s services, and especially enjoyed art therapy. His family and friends established the James Marcon Youth Health Foundation in his honour, and continue to support art therapy across Orygen’s five headspace centres.
These programs play a vital role in fostering creativity, connection, and emotional expression, providing an alternate avenue for young people to access support beyond one-to-one psychological therapy.
Because of your support, we’re able to continue delivering these services and support young people on their journey to better mental health.
