One million young Australians suffer from mental health problems, with direct consequences for their wellbeing, as well as their ability to complete education, establish social networks, form intimate relationships, and move into employment. Mental illness is a critical threat to young people as they transition into adulthood.
Orygen is the world’s leading youth mental health organisation, combining research, knowledge translation, clinical programs, policy, and training. Its pioneering work helped create the model upon which headspace was founded, and these services are integrated with Orygen’s world-renowned specialist clinical programs, which provide care for young people with severe mental health problems at Melbourne Health. Join the James Marcon Youth Health Foundation this October and walk with us to help raise vital funds for Orygen.
You can also donate to the event on this page.
Thank you!
